Global Ports

While a central location opens timely access to all the ports of Florida’s comprehensive port network, North Central Florida is also home to some of the state’s biggest and most service-oriented ports including:

  • JAXPORT (Port of Jacksonville). Florida’s largest port by volume, the multimodal JAXPORT opens opportunities in markets across the globe with a broad range of shipping capabilities, from autos and breakbulk to containerized, RoRo (roll-on, roll-off) military and more.
  • Port of Fernandina. Just 22 miles from the Atlantic, Port of Fernandina offers another strategic multimodal option. Capabilities range from breakbulk to containerized to heavy lift for a wide variety of products and commodities, with rail and highway connections speeding transit.
  • Port Citrus. Rail and highway access and a channel width of 225’ and depth of 12’ to 14’ make Port Citrus a significant addition to the region’s maritime portfolio.
