Agriculture-based Industries in North Central Florida

North Central Florida’s 15 counties offer wide-open spaces at affordable rates, along with a strategic location and access to both foreign and domestic distribution systems, making agriculture-based industries a natural fit for this region. North Central Florida is a large producer of soybeans, peanuts, cotton and tobacco.

Cost of Doing Business

North Central Florida has a lot of undeveloped land that is affordable and primed for development, with a strong infrastructure already in place. The State of Florida also offers excellent tax advantages and incentives to all types of businesses locating in Florida.

Transportation Infrastructure

North Central Florida has access to major U.S. interstates, large seaports, rail, and regional and international airports, making transporting food products to large markets -- both domestic and international – manageable.
